install windows remotely?
wondering if its possible to install windows 2000/2003 remotely ?
making an image of a windows 2000 install, then running on dedicated box i have seems a way?
I run it over vmWARE in datacenters that don't support it, if you ask the datacenter for 2 disks on the server it'll run alot faster too.
Example; 10GB disk running Ubuntu 6.0.6
120GB disk used as physical disk over vmWARE running Windows
I could be wrong here, but it is possible to PXE boot windows isnt it?
any guides for this ?

It is possible to use PXE ( you have to press F12) but only locally. It is also not worth doing for less then 50+ servers as you have to create image and sysprep it (or create answer files)
Using vmware and having it use the physical disk should work. Does the DC have a kvm over ip and the windows disks? That is another way to get it installed depending on what you need.
The PXE would work like posted above but you would need another local server to serve the image.
