As many of you know.. the new version of itunes has been released yesterday.

If the volume (in itunes) is not at 100%, i hear a crazy amount of distortion and awful sound output.

Anyone else have this?

Wasnt the case w. the older version....

I have not experienced this problem after I upgraded to iTunes 7. In fact I've noticed that I get better performance with this newer version.

My music store/library.xml file is located on a network share, and the older versions would take forever to close after exiting.

I updated to 7 and had audio problems. After checking Apple's forums, I was suggested this:
Control Panel > Quick Time > Audio tab, 44KHz, 16bits > Apply & Restart iTunes.

not sure about itunes, but i know the latest napster "upgrade" happened yesterday and ever since, i can hear all kinds of strange things going on in my box! they are definitely running something.

I think its nice, but to lagy and also people are telling me there are bugs all over it.
