Question How do you deal with this problem...

When spammers send mail to a particular account, MailScanner forwards it to a spam account. When the spam account gets full, the "Mail Delivery System" bounces a message to the sender with the typical "The mailbox is full" message. Now, since the spammers don't use legitimate accounts, the notification message gets stuck in the queue.

In an attempt to save my queue, would it be a bad idea to turn off the notification that are sent to the sender? If it is a bad idea, then what's the solution?

    Your thoughts are appreciated.

Replying to spam is the worst thing you can do even if its a message! That just verifiys to the spammer your email is legit.
