Re: Question about stationary design
I'm not sure. Are you inquiring about social stationery or individual business stationery?

I know that people have their own personal business cards, but I'm not sure about letterheads and/or envelopes? I mostly see corporate companies do this...
I hope everyone will understand my question...
If you work for XYZ corporation and you want business cards that say J. Doe, XYZ corporation, those are usually provided by the company, as they require use of trademarked logos and names. And, yes, you should have individual business cards, and at least casual notepads imprinted with your name.
Formal business letterhead/envelopes is usually generic to the company, or by department, with only the bigwig's having their own names on their letterhead/envelopes. If yours is a small company, it might be worth figuring the price of all the individual stationery to see if it's worth the extra expense, or if a generic letterhead for everyone to use would be best.
If you mean social stationery, by all means. Personal cards, once known as 'visiting cards' are still just as useful, particularly in these days of multiple phone numbers and email addresses. And stationery with your home address on it comes in very handy, whether it, and you, are casual or formal.
