Post How to set up Wildcard DNS for all new accounts on WHM/cPanel?

    Hey there!

I have my own dedicated server and I want to make use of virtual subdomains on every new domain/account I create on the server. And I don't want to modify the httpd.conf and edit the DNS zone every time I add a new domain/account ...

    How can I do that?!

I know Cpanel has a skeleton it uses when creating accounts. Try looking for a file that contains 'skel' in your cpanel directories on your server.

You can adjust the dns template but you cannot adjust your httpd.conf template(that I am aware of), you will have manually add this entry or use a script.
