im a new bie and still learing lot of stuffs
ok my question is how can you set up nameservers
i know a different way thru you domain registrar but i wan to know how can you set up name servers in win 2003 server like for instance " dns1.domainname.com" " dns2.domainname.com " so people who have domains they can just add the nameservers to host in win 2003 server.

thought someone replied but no luck yet
are you looking to manage through micrsoft DNS?
You need to add each domain zone files manually on the Microsoft DNS snap in (if you don't have any control panel to manage)

setting up your name server is nothing related to your server OS.
You need to have two Ip's for your dns server.
suppose you have your domain as domain.com , all you need to do is >> go to your domain registrar control panel >> register name server on one Ip >>> then the second.
This makes sure that the name servers are created >> then point your other domains to the new name server .
make sure your dns records are existing in the plesk server
thank you it works
