The Best Server Uptime Monitoring system

    Hello WHT Folks,

I just want to ask your inputs regarding the BEST server uptime monitoring and alert system in the industry today.

I am looking for one that can send an SMS message to my cellphone when my servers are down.

As always, thanks for your help.

    Thanks,

Take a look at the popular paid ones such as alertra.com , siteuptime.com, hyperspin.com and so on.

    Good luck

    Cool

I know there are a lot of others but Alertra has always been great for us so no reason to mess with success.

phpsysinfo is nice and it's free

overall the best would be something which is at a different physical location as it would see what a visitor sees I guess.

Alertra is the most reliable, in my opinion. They also have the "biggest" brand name, so you would like to think (even if it is faulty logic) that their service is better.

I have been using host-tracker for my client's sites, and it is great.

phpsysinfo is a script which has been known to be insecure.

Anyway, Siteuptime is working very well for me.

    Thanks Guys!

I find 2 that suits my needs. Alertra and Hostracker. I tested them on
SMS side and Alertra's text message came in smoothly and fast while I
wait a while from Hosttracker test text. In fact, I have to hit "resend the
code" button for it to come.

Features-wise Alertra is on top. Hostracker on the other side seems
good on pricing or cost-wise. Hostracker does the same thing I want as
Alertra does but at much lesser cost. Had the text message came as
fast as Alertra, I am convinced.

But I might have missed the point. Or is it not?

    Would you vote for Hostracker?
