    centos 32bit / 64bit

    is there anyway you can find out what you're running in root ssh? Please help.

    uname -a

    If you see anything 64bit related - you're using the 64bit version.

    It is not running in 64bit mode - can't tell if it's capable. Is this one of the Intel 64bit chips ?

    the chip is 64, but i do not want to run 64....

    type: uname -i

    64bit looks like x86_64
    32bit looks like i386
