VPS+DirectAdmin+SAVVIS DC TX?
I haven't found such a provider. If anyone knows of such an animal that costs less than dedicated, let me know.

Is there a reason why you want specifically SAVVIS bandwidth?

If you are running monitoring services on the VPS, wouldn't you want it to be outside of the SAVVIS DC/ not on the same network as the servers being monitored? Good example: SAVVIS DC/network goes out; you would have no way of knowing from your monitoring VPS as it would also be down.
