Hello,

I am wondering if eaccelerator works with phpsuexec? from what I understand that it actually doesn't but I would like to hear some input on this?

In theory, it definately won't work, because eaccelerator "doesn't" work with PHP as a CGI, which is what phpsuexec uses.

In practice, now, eaccelerator does work under lighttpd, with PHP as a cgi; I have to admit I'm not really clear on the technical end of how or why, just that it does (and quite well, I might add). This leads me to believe that there's a slim chance that if phpsuexec works under lighttpd (I can't immediately find any documentation that it does), eaccelerator will as well.

You could always brave the uncharted waters and report back on your discoveries.

Lighttpd has a 'fastcgi' setup which is what makes it work with PHP + eaccelerator. Basic 'cgi' is not compatible.
