    IIS: Pages queued: why ?

    Hello,

    I am using a W2003 server standard + IIS 6 + Access/ADO.
I am experiencing lot of page queueing. I don't have a clue where it could come from.
It doesn't seem a resource issue: i have lots of physical RAM available, and cpu usage doesn't go above 30%.

Do you know what are the possible causes ?

How can I investigate this issue ?

    TIA

You can improve ASP queuing by increasing the values for the AspProcessorThreadMax and AspRequestQueueMax entry in metabase.xml.

Finally the problem was not fixed.

I put a value of AspProcessorThreadMax = 50, and I watched the "Requests executing" performance counter: it never goes above 4, even when a lot of pages are queued.
    Isn't this counter supposed to reach AspProcessorThreadMax (x2 since I have 2 cpu's); that is 100 ?
