Yes, I use AOL email because I have a computer and a laptop of which the laptop I cannot use Outlook on. And also incase any downtime does occur, I'd like to still be available to my clients.
And yes, E-Starr is still very new. The server is still fresh and we are building up somewhat quickly. Server upgrades are our next step, probably happening next month. Other than this there is no scheduled downtime. I normally host personal domains/portfolio domains.
Downtime in our past three months has been rare. Once was because of an attack early in the first month and the other was because our network on DV2 was down, although I believe they're supposed to have 100% uptime. The server itself was still fully functional. Neither lasted longer than 5 minutes.
If you'd like any more information please feel free to ask. Otherwise, I don't believe you'll find any of my clients posting here.
I've had my eye on E-Starr's 30 Gigs of transfer. I'm going to take another account somewhere before this weekend. I think I'll give Ms. Soesbee's company a try. Besides, it's a literate and attractive website. Hush! It's as good a reason as any to try someplace new.
But I'm curious: What's a "portfolio" domain. Am I embarassing myself by not knowing this?
