Question Good windows text editor(merge two lists)...?

I am currently using textpad and I like it.

I'm looking for a tool or text editor or something that can merge large lists of data together.

Just one entry per line, and if that entry already exists overwrite it or dont add so there are no double entries. Make sense?

Anyone know of soemthing that can do this?

Do they have the ability to merge a list without creating double entries?

Not sure if what I said makes sense as its late and im tired but ill try again to explain..

    I have list A:

    1111
    2222
    3333

    And list B:

    4444
    5555
    1111

I want to merge them into...

    List C:

    1111
    2222
    3333
    4444
    5555

Anyone know of a program that can do this?

That part I don't know, but i would eliminate editpad and use ultra edit. If either could do it, ultra edit has a lot more functionality

    My favorite one is:

    Notepad2 http://www.flos-freeware.ch/notepad2.html

Simple, clean, does all what I want: line count, tag color (many dev. language supported), etc..

It's not a big utility but a handy one
