    GMail and RoboForm

Are these two online services safe to use? I'm somewhat wary of having to use a program to manage passwords, especially ones I don't use that often/remember. Is it super secure, and localized on the machine?

Also, I read a story somewhere that someone hacked into an online gmail account and got all the persons data. IS it any better, or worse than AOL Mail? I usually use AOL Mail for the junky stuff like signup forms, message boards I don't frequently visit, etc and have no real need for it anymore. That, and ever since they went free, it's been buggier than usual.

I use GMAIL for a personal account - haven't had any issues... yet
