There is an problem with my explorer.exe it keeps using 99% of my cpu load... ive tryed rebooting my system but no luck I have alos searched google for a awnser but no luck either... Its really anoyning I have to shut it of when I want to play games... and i have Intel Celeron-D 2.5ghz with 756mb ram... I've virus scanned my computer many time. So does anyone know any common ways to fix this?
Reboot into safe mode, start up adaware, ctrl + shift + esc to call up task manager, kill explorer.exe, run adaware scan and clean up as needed.

Adding to what NE-Andy said, after the scan when you are in safe mode check your startup folder to see what automatically starts when you log in. Remove any adware/malware file from here that adaware missed.
There seems to be a slight miscommunication here.
explorer.exe is Windows Explorer...file manager, essentially the OS kernel.
iexplore.exe is internet explorer.
This will crash Windows, no?
err, well how stupid do we look. And my job title is a Network Support Specialist, err well I think I should quit after that one.
Yes you are correct iexploer.exe is internet explorer and explorer.exe is windows file manager.
If you do kill explorer and have nothing left but a blue blank screen, press Alt-Ctrl-Del, this will either bring up task manager or options allowing you to select task manager (depends if your PC is joined to a domain), do File->New Task(Run)-> The type "explorer.exe".
