Requests for free hosting is not permitted on WHT, but you can go to our sister site (Free Web Hosting Talk) at the following link which allows it...

    Michael,

If you haven't yet you should really give paid hosting a shot!
Not only are companies these days fighting to the death with their pricing (i.e. low) they almost always offer better service than most free hosts (almost..).

With hosting that can be had for nearly free: Go for paid.
It's a much more fun experience and remember always keep backups of your data.

I have to agree with David, paid hosting is the way to go. You get what you pay for, but you can still get pretty decent hosting for a couple of dollars per month.

I would say for free hosting use one of the big guys so your site doesn't just vanish one day. ( ie, geocities.com )

    however, I would say getting a cheap 2-3$ account from a bigg-ish host is a good idea. ( ixwebhosting.com, hostgator.com, bluehost.com, etc )
