    DVD's

    Hey all!

I am wondering if it's possible to turn my DVD's into .DAT, .M1V, .MPG, .MPEG, .AVI, .VOB, .M2V, or .MPEG2.

I have a network media player and I want to stream my DVD video's form my computer to my TV.

    Thanks for any information

I have used software similar to This in the past. Works well, but takes a couple hours.

    Hey all!

I used a program called CloneDVD by SlySoft.com

I did almost just want I needed. I got it to rip on to my computer in .vob format

The only thing is, it created like 4 .vob files instead of just one long one.

Also, total, for the movie, it's about 4GB.

I would like each of my movies to be ~ 1GB

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks alot

    I could'nt get a key for cheap.....if you know what I mean

also, this CloneDVD only took like 20 minutes and the quality is 100% DVD like.

Maybe there is a program to join the 4 VOB files and compress?

then from vob encode/compress it to mp4/divx, although the quality will be lesser.

The 4gb vob files simply said are the original dvd

If you want to convert files to .mp4,maybe you can try winavi mp4 video converter. And also it can merge files into one.

Ok, I used WinAVI and it worked ok.

But it merged the files in the wrong order :-\

It also added spanish subtitles for some reason.

I am thinking now maybe just leaving them as .VOB files and 4GB for one movie

Does anyone know how to merge 4 VOB files into 1 VOB file (in the right order with no sub titles)

    In wrong order?
Oh,you can adjust the order of the files which you select for conversion. After you select files you will get a box "Any to ....",you can see your file in the right top of the box,and beside the file you can find two arrow.Just select a file, and then click the UP/Down Arrow on the left side of the list to move it, till get it in correct order. Just do the same with other files.

If you don't need subtitles, you can select "NONE" for subtitle stream in advanced page.
