Bluewho after three years
Yes, it's been three years this month. Three peaceful years, I should add. I signed up when Bluewho was still a start-up, and haven't regretted it ever since.
A brief look back on these years: it started out with Adrian, who made his name in the reseller provider business very quickly, standing out by providing excellent and blazing fast service. After about a year and a half, Bluewho had grown enormously and some of the servers started to become somewhat overloaded. Adrian decided to sell out and Bluewho became part of Steven's empire (Insiderhosting.com, which previously acquired HTTPme.com as well). It is true that there were problems during this time, but I decided to sit it out and boy did I make the right decision. Steven got on top things and sorted out all server and support issues. Then came the next big step, moving all the old servers from the original data centre to the Insiderhosting DC. I was slightly concerned first; while I was happy about the shiny new and powerful server that my domains would be hosted on, and I also had had enough of the troubles in the old data center (FortressITX), I was still unsure about ping times and number of hops after moving from New Jersey to California - since most of customers are based in Europe. It turned out that One Wilshire has excellent connections to Europe; I actually reach it in fewer hops than the NJ DC. I was also concerned about the server move itself; we have all seen too many moves go incredibly wrong. But again, I decided to wait and see. The server move went flawlessly, with no downtime or problems. The new data center and the new server are both excellent. To sum it up, it has been a very nice three years, and I'm thankful to Adrian and Steven for giving me peace of mind.
In figures:
The first year and a half: 10/10
For the next half a year: 8/10 (server and occasional support issues)
The past one year: 10/10
This would make it 9.67 out of 10 on a three year average - not bad!
It must also be noted that Bluewho might not be your cheapest host; but you must not forget that quality comes at a price, and if you want no sleepless nights because of server performance or support, then you should not give it up for a few dollars per month. And the main strength of Bluewho is still its transparency; you can go to the forums and find out for yourself. Only those companies can allow this level of openness that trust their own services and know that they have nothing to hide.

That would be Bluewho. They target completely different markets, hence the reduced WHT popularity of Bluewho.

Steven does a great job. I was lucky enough to see his presence in One Wilshire recently and it was most definitely impressive.

Good to see Steven taking BW to bigger and better things. All that new hardware is a huge step up from those old rented servers.

Just wanted to say thanks to GDO for the very nice review. We look forward to serving you for years to come Glad to see you are a well educated person, since it's not all about price, it's about service, reliability, communication, and the list can go on and on.
Enjoy our LA facility as well!
