Directories Not Working

I have a wildcard domain set up to catch all requests not listed in http.conf, so for example even though I don't have the domain blabblah.com listed in a virtualhost directory, it will still resolve (You know how you get a plesk error page when you send a domain to the server without configuring it first).

The problem is, I have found subdirectories do not work for some odd reason. Could someone shed light on this situation? I want them to work so that I don't have to place everything in one directory.
