Web Hosting Company For Sale (Highly Profitable)
We are selling our web hosting company due to a seperation of the initial partners.
Here are the stats:
Anual Revenues: $41,109.02
Total Virtual Hosting Accounts: ~50
Total Dedicated Servers: ~16
Nearly All Accounts Are Paid Monthly (With Exception of About 4)
Payments via: 2Checkout Primarily
Virtual Plans Range from $15.00 Per Month upto $200.00 Per Month.
Dedicated Servers Range from $100 Per Month upto $400 Per Month.
Total Virtual Plan Servers: 2 (both Cpanel)
(Both Servers are for sale also and both are dual-dual xeon)
Dedicated Servers are also all for sale (hardware is company owned)
All Servers are colocated in Equinix Ashburn
Total Bandwidth Ranges from 15mbit to 60mbit
Support is very light as all dedicated servers are unmanaged and virtual clients are very computer savvy.
If you have any more information you can PM me or Email Me.
Thank you so very much,
IOwnAHost4U (Identity Hidden for Protection of Client Base)

what are your costs and profits?
do you have a sale price in mind?
are you willing to sell batches of customers separately?

Costs are around $1400.00 per month for colocation & bandwidth. One person could easily run this company right now and still pull in a good amount of profit.
We have a sale price in mind, but want to hear offers first.
We would rather sell the company in as a whole as it would prevent the loss of a customer base. I am open to suggestions.
Thanks.

Will you transfer ownership of the domain to us? If we're willing to sign and fax over an NDA, can we see proof of revenus for the past 6months? Are you currently responsible for renewing any domains other then your own (ie: did you offer a free domain to customers as part of a package deal) .
As for the dedicated server issue, please clarify. ARe those dedicated servers you rent from a bigger co or are those your own co-located machines which you rent out as dedicated to your customers. Thanks in advance for your time and attention to my questions.

Sure, contact me via PM for information about the company (name and revenue reports). We have no domains and we always refer people to godaddy.com.
The dedicated servers are owned by us, the hardware is located in a colocation rack at Equinix in Ashburn VA. They are our hardware, and we would like to sell the hardware with the clients. They can stay in Equinix, we will get more information if you are interested in that.
Thanks.

Hi iownahost4u,
because of forum rules I can't PM you (too much of a low post count) please contact me @ erik.godin@gmail.com for further discussions or please provide an alternate method of contact so we can discuss this opportunity further. Thanks for your time.

thanks for your time in this transaction. I did reply to your e-mail for the more confidential info but I'd like to ask one more question in the forum. When you refer to virtual hosting, are you talking about shared hosting on one machine? Or do you use some type of virtualization software? Thanks.

Hi Erik,
We have Virtual Hosting which gives users full access to WHM and Cpanel, but we do not allow Root Access. All of our Virtual Accounts are spread out over 2 machines currently, and are NOT run as Virtual Private Servers.
Thanks.

Hi,
I was reading you would like the buyer to take over the hardware (something that I missed when I originally answered your thread) how do you suggest the transfer of ownership of the hardware to be done? It's a fuzzy feeling to buy a bunch of hardware you've never even seen. I already have a dual-processor/dual-core intel xeon server that's getting setup right now.

We would like the sale of the hardware to be included, but it is not a requirement.
However, the hardware is very good custom built hardware

Hi,
I, too, am interested in buying your clients & business. I can't PM you because I don't have the required minimum number of posts to use the PM feature.
Can you please send me the following information to iamtrustworthy@gmail.com :
- Your non-disclosure agreement (i can fax it to you)
- The information about your company (name and revenue reports).
Thanks,
Steve

Iownahost4u,
please forward an NDA to wt1024@web-tiger.net or e-mail me for my fax number if it's easier. I can also provide a phone number if you prefer discussing on the phone. Please add me to your MSN as well if you've got an account.
Thank you.

Hello,
provided that:
- You accept to use escrow.com
- We are able to come to amicable terms
- We will both exchange voice phone numbers (landline only please)
- We exchange thoughts on how the annoucement will be made to your customers
I am willing to make an offer. One last thing that bothers me, I would like to discuss how we will proceed for the merchant accounts that are currently processing all the billing. Depending on the merchant, some have very specific rules, ie: your are not allowed to transfer ownership of a merchant account, I would have to create my own and customers would need to re-signup. I am able to provide both English and French technical support. Please explain how you would like me to proceed to make an offer, and advise if you have an MSN contact. Thank you for your time.
