FREE - MS Live hosting. What's the catch?
Microsoft Live hosting is free (30MB of space).
There have to be limitations... are there?
They seem to be giving out free domain names as well.
Does anyone know anything about this?

If this referring to the real Microsoft ... why not their can simply afford to come out with this marketing static to gain customer to try out their services.

Hey Microsoft is a titan, what do you expect!  I would have a problem trusting them with a hosting account, let alone a free one. Just as I suspected with yahoo and domains, sometimes some markets should be left to the ones who specialize in them.

tmax100, just look at things such as GMail, Yahoo, Geocities, MSN, etc. They are so huge, this won't even make a dent in their profit margins. It's good promotion as well.

I just signed up, you don't get FTP ...you just build your pages with their editor ...
oh well ...atleast you get 5 email adresses @yourdomainyougetforfreefromthem 2GB each ...
