Hi everyone;

I have a client for whom we have created a press release for, for a new service his hosting company has launched.

He wanted to submit it to the following:

http://www.w3reports.com/
http://uk.webhostdir.com/
http://www.hostingtech.com/

However, he says the press releases have most likely been rejected - because they have not come up on the directories yet.

I have contacted the directories listed above asking why it might have been rejected, but I was wondering if in the meantime anyone knew of any rules that must be adhered to for these sites to publish your press release.

Usually the biggest problem with press releases is the person writing them make them sound to much like a sales pitch as apposed to something news worthy. There's many places to submit a release to. But send it to the others above and if you'd like I'll be glad to take a look at it also. Might give you a few different opinions.
