Any good email hosting options?
Hello,
I have a dedicated box that serves about 100 clients.
85%+ of server resources seem to be spent on EMAIL! Spam filtering and
virus checking of attachments are especially resource intensive.
I do not want to compromise the dependability or speed of my WEB server.
I need:- SMTP
- IMAP
- POP3
- Customizable Spam Filters
- Virus Checking
that costs pennies that I could re-sell?

What are the specs on your box, are you running windows or Linux, any type of control panel?
It seems that for a good server with 100 clients that email shouldn't be running up that much of your resources.Regards,
Mat

Hello,
I use CPANAL / Linux on a Celron...
It supports 100 client websites, but many have multiple boxes for their employees. There are 1,600 email accounts in total.
I would preffer to outsorce email for a number of reasons including I my time.
