Modernbill's Enom ETP...

What will happend if I open an Enom 7.95 account with Modernbill and I stop using Modernbill later. Will I still have that Enom account, will I have a support from Enom or Modernbill or I will have an Enom account without any support which is not realy good. So, what do you think about this...

Support always goes through Enom directly.

Check with ModernBill directly as to the terms of the agreement.

@CyberHost
Thanks, i asked ModernBill and they told me that I will still have my Enom account if I stop using ModernBill.

@franksredhot
Thanks for sugestion but I hate that out of the box web sites, I have my own web site and my own simple clients system and I started now to develop a new one, something like ModerBill but without many options, and with some options that ModernBill doesn't have, and I wanted to integrate only support for RegisterFly and 2CO, but I stopped at the middle and I don't realy have a time to finish it. That is why I strated this topic, because I don't know will I be using ModernBill or I will find time and strength to finish my own billing system.

i dont think sub-accounts are supposed by enom anymore, i believe they forward requests to the ETP/higher level reseller

just confirm with enom too

That's what I thought. Thanks for mentioning that. I will check with them, or maybe someone else here knows...

There was a post here recently that did confirm that. Maybe it could be different with Moderngigabyte accounts.

Yes, you were right, I won't have a support from Enom. I will have a support only from my reseller.

To answer the original poster's question, you will still be able to keep your eNom account... but if you try and contact eNom directly they might tell you to contact ModernBill first. They will ALWAYS be your "parent" account, so it does not matter if you continue to use modernbill (the software) or not... since your eNom account will always remain under them and they are supposed to be your "first line" for support of your enom account.

With regard to the AWBS software and it's retarded template system.. you should take a look at the "bare" theme. It is designed to just use a simple header/footer and does not try to take over your entire website. This way, it works just like all the rest of the billing systems and you don't have to use the stupid (and ugly) "whole website" templates from awbs.
