Hello! I am looking for a very specific need.

I need a host that has dedicated/managed servers that meet government security standards and is located in the US.

Some of my requirements are:
* Maintenace options (High % uptimes & daily backups)
* FTP and web access
* 2 year agreement initially with up to 5 years in 1 year increments
* High Bandwidth
* Initially start with 2 servers and add up to 2 more servers in the future



I know this may seem strange, etc.. to some people, but this is the way the government works . I need a host experienced in meeting government security standards. Please help me get pointed in the right direction.

What kind of budget are you looking at? Rackspace.com certainly has a good name for the type of hosting your requirements dictate

There are quite a few providers who can do this for you. The main question is where your budget is. The daily backups, I presume, would be to a seperate server. Off-site? On-site? And, as for the 2 year agreement, that's not a problem but you're also likely going to be bound by that provision.

- High-bandwidth, that's somewhat vague. Its better if you're more specific and can commit to an exact level from the start.

- Specificy the specs of the servers as well. What type of hardware? What type of OS?
