10 Posts Rule
I think it doesn't really make sense to force ppl to contribute to the threads and server load when they don't really have anything to say in the forums except to sell off some hosting script licenses. Struggled to post 10 posts (hopefully didn't flame anyone), and still cannot post my ads on the advertising forums.
Just don't get it, and the topics aren't about the latest football game or world cup... its about webhosting which I don't live and eat with everyday since I quited the hosting business.0

I think the 10 posts thing is good, it means that in order to post advertisements you need to become a part of the amazing community

I agree. Ten posts just doesn't make sense.
It should be fifty. There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.0

Too easy to make 10 "rubbish" posts that only serve to keep the moderators busy removing them - what about a 30 or 60 day 'probationary' period as well ?

Rubbish posts are easy to spot, and shows who's willing to skirt the rules to advertise.

I agree with the 50 post proposal. It keeps the riff raff out. Free benefits should be reserved for contributors to the community.
Nuff said,
