    I'm new. Introduction :)

    Hi there guys and girls.

I'm new to the boards and I think I will be staying here for a long time! I've been browsing the boards for quite a while now and find it very informative and it will definately help me make my business a better one.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Kaumil Patel and i'm the co-founder of HostingPlex.com (http://www.hostingplex.com). My partner and I had thought throughoutly before we even got into the industry, but i'm happy to say that I know well enough to make our current clients and future clients happy. We've been serving the Toronto area for about a year now and decided that it's time to go World-Wide after practicing this business. We currently have only about 100 clients but are now equipped to take way more, so I think we're going down the right path.

Anyways, I thought I'd drop a line to say Hi, and just to let everyone know that i'm here

My e-mail is [email protected], if you wish to contact me you can.

Thank you and let the friendships begin
    Kaumil P.

Did you happen to see the Rules while you were browsing?

It's always a good idea to read them *before* posting.

OH! And; welcome to the madness.

I know I am mean, cynical, and a jerk, but my first thought on reading this post was to do a whois on hostingplex.com and see if they have really been around for year.

As a gesture of good will, I am refraining from that.

Thank you guys for all the kind welcomes

I think I have not commited against the TOS, I hope not. I was just trying to explain my services as the introduction? The HostingPlex.com domain was not registered until recently as we decided to go world-wide. We only hosted sites of friends and their friends.

But now we want to make it a business.

    Welcome!

FYI Your link to aboutus.html is malformed.

    http://www.hostingplex.com/?p=/abouuts.html should be
    http://www.hostingplex.com/?p=/aboutus.html

And your site map link is dead too. FYI

    Guys,

We are only starting to get public with the whole "hostingplex.com" thing. We have never used the name before, I guess you missed my post just above yours

Fair enough. Do you do much marketing to the Toronto area? Just curious. Such big potential - I wonder if having a .ca flavour of your business would not be a bad approach as well.

    Cheers

So far it has got us over 100 clients from doing minimal work. Most of the promotion was word of mouth and our clients letting their pals know that we were giving them good service. That's how we really became to be. We are looking towards advertising on benches, flyers, etc. We are researching those methods anyways. I hear classified newspaper ads work real great!
