Greetings,

I have a server with Linux 6.2 and Plesk, with qmail.
One of my domains uses a catchall address for all email addresses that do not have mailboxes. Is there a way to have a particular address bounce any mail sent to it?

Thanks,

The problem with catch-all. Can you forward separate aliases with plesk? I'm guessing no since you'd have done that already. Hmmm. Set up new user under that name and shoot all emails to the circular filing device (garbage).

Yes, I can forward this particular address, but where would I forward it to make it bounce back to the original sender?

do you have another domain on the same server that is setup to bounce undeliverable email instead of using the catch-all account??? If so, just forward the email address to:

jdnrhsj384262392349wefhksdf@thebouncingdomain.com

That should do the trick since I doubt you would ever create an email address like that for any domain.

If you don't have another domain on that server, just create a subdomain and do the above
