I setup my laptop to dual boot xp and vista by following this guide:

Dual Boot: XP & Vista

Last time I tried dual boot, it was a complete disaster. Many years ago when win 2k or XP came out (can’t remember which one I used), I tried to setup a dual boot with Win98. This time around, the process was easy.
Couple of notes...
Gparted would not create the vista partition until I ran scan disk and defrag. Then it took a very long time... over 15 minutes... don't have an exact time since I left after about 15 minutes and went into the other room.
Once I loaded vista it would show as "C" drive... I was confused for a second since I knew I had xp as C drive. Depending on the os you are in they will show as C.
Vista and xp seem to play well together...
nice tutorials... although, I would print them as the Muckyfeet.com site was down all night so I had to go off memory of what I had read earlier.
I am sure the experts will read this thread and laugh, but hopefully this post will help at least one person.
