Instant Messenger on Mac

I just got a new MacBook (Black 2.0ghz Intel, 1gb ram, 13.3"). This isn't my first Mac, but it's my first one that I'll use on a daily basis.

I'm looking for a good universal IM client (MSN, AOL, Yahoo).

What can you folks recommend as a universal IM client for Mac? I figured I should ask here of the mac users, since google comes up with results, but I don't want to install 15 different clients until I find a good one.

Thanks!

I would recommend Adium.

I'm not really a mac user, only here and there, but the rest of my family is..and that is what they use.

From my experience, its pretty decent, and it supports pretty much every chat system.

Adium is based on the gaim libraries (so it supports almost all major im networks), and imo its one of the best clients for osx; plus its got some great skins

I've been using OS X since I purchased my iBook G4 3 years ago, and Adium is by far the best IM client available.
