Im looking for servers and wondering whether anyone knew of any sites whom sold refurbished Servers ?

Manufacturers such as HP, IBM, Dell all have sell refurbished and off-lease servers. U-Bid often seems to have a lot of refurb servers up for auction.

Just use Google to find some great deals.

From my experience::

Once you recieve the server you'll want to check for dust, if there is some, use a compressor(NOT vaccum) to blow it out. Re-apply thermal paste to the processor and make sure all of the connectors are tight. Tighten any motherboard screws and also harddrive screws(vibrations are the WORSE thing for a harddrive).

Save the original packaging if it comes with any warranties(14, 30, 60, 90 day are common). Once your refurbished warranty period lapses you can throw out all of the packaging.

In the past I have seen quite a few refurb servers on eBay.
