buying computers in the UK

is there any supplier in the UK that is well established as offering the best value computer systems for a typical price? does anyone know? do we have resident UK-based experts?

even better, anyone recommend a supplier in Birmingham?

though, to be great value, they will probably be national or international of course

Are you looking for ready made systems? Or are you going to build? I buy my parts from a range of locations, www.scan.co.uk is quite good, and so can ebuyer.co.uk be. Both do overnights.

Yeah the ISP I work for uses a lot of scan provided parts - good company.
