Question about Forum Rules

In the "Other Hosting Related Offers" forum it says in the rules:
"If you are selling your item on other forums or auction sites, you may not present a post with only a link to those."

I'm just wondering if it is okay that I explain an account I have for sale which is going on auction at ebay - I would not just post the link and no more information.

So does the rules in that forum mean that you cannot link to other auction site like ebay period? Or does the rule above mean that you can link to an auction, but only if you explain the account and not just a simple link and nothing else?

It states that you can not post *just* a link to the other site. It doesn't say that you can't post a link to it.

Just wanted to make sure as I don't want to be banned from the forums for making a silly mistake - the other day I made a mistake and posted something in the wrong forum and had my account locked for a day, thankfully my posting privileges seem to work today

Thanks to whoever re-enabled my posting privileges for the silly mistake I made.

Maybe you could mention this at the helpdesk? I don't see where you were locked out by us...
