Deleted Partition

Hey guys

I am in need of help, because I have screwed up in a rather large way.

I was reinstalling windows not 2 hours ago, and it came to the point where I had to select which drive to install it on. Because I am very clever indeed, I deleted the partition on my 200GB data storage drive, rather than the partition on the 80GB drive I meant to reinstall windows on.

I have therefore lost about 150GB of data which I really, really don't want to have lost.

Happily I noticed what I had done straight away, so I haven't formatted the 200GB drive, or moved any data about, or done anything in fact. All I did was delete the partition and then start to cry.

I assume it should be possible to get this data back, or at least most of it, and to that end I am downloading Acronis Partition Expert, because I happened to find it while searching.

I was wondering though if anyone had any advice on other programs which you might have used in the past which I should look into, which might help me in this, my hour of need?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Cheers
BHM

Acronis should do the job, otherwise try active@undelete or EasyRecovery from On-Track.

Thanks Trau. I couldn't get Acronis to install properly, so I'll give those other 2 a try.

What do you mean it is not safe for computer fxtrader?
