I'm setting up an account at Dreamhost. I have been using a reseller account at Site5 and I'm considering moving away. I have this weird situation:
If I sign up to the discussion forums at Dreamhost and use any of my Site5 email addresses, I never get the confirmation email and password.
If I sign up using a gmail account, I get the confirmation email instantly.
If I use one of my Dreamhost's accounts to send mail from Outlook and put one of my Site5 accounts as the recipient, the message gets lost forever. If I cc my gmail account, the message is delivered instantly to the gmail account, but not to the Site5 account.
Now if I stop using Dreamhost's SMTP server and use a local SMTP server, email doesn't get lost at all and I do receive every message sent.
Is it possible that Site5 has blacklisted Dreamhost's servers and/or email addresses?
