what anti virus software can clean up infected files/email?

my windows got a lot of infected email, i have tried ClamAV Windows port, F-prot AV and eTrust AV. none of them seem to be able to disinfect the files or delete them.

what AV for Windows 2003 server can clean up everything? what Windows AV do you use?

Hello,

Try kaspersky online search virus (www.kaspersky.com). Good luck!

Try Symantec Corporate, it's always been pretty good at cleaning things up (infected Exchange datafiles, etc).

Avast Home Free should be enough to meet your needs.

If you want more (I mean if you want payed solution), then consider McAfee VirusScan, TrendMicro PCCillin or Kaspersky Personal Pro.

Avast.com you can do a boot scan to clean yourself up then run the antivirus in the background thereafter. It has done well for me.

AVG Free edition from Grisoft is pretty good. Considering its free, it's always kept my system clean and scans all incomming and outgoing mail.

They've also launched a free anti-spyware package.

Kaspersky is definitely the best for clean up, NOD32 is close behind from an overall prospective.
