dotster blocks my email. looking for new hosting.
Traveling in SE Asia and my new hosting company has blocked my email, saying I have a virus. signed up with dotster after a friend recommended them - basic $75 hosting package. Looking for reliable email and SMTP server that will work while traveling. the actual web hosting is not even that important.
Who can I use that will be more reliable?

I'm not sure why your host would block your email... Practically all hosts offer email screening services and webmail access if required.

Can you send and receive email with other hosts? It seems quite odd that they'd 'block email' from your account. I'm actually not even sure if that's possible...

Yes I contacted them many times while travelling. Every reply was a different answer, then I stopped getting replies after a while. once or twice I was asked for my IP address, and told I would be unblocked but never was. more or less got by on web based mail this trip. Looking for a better solution now. Need relaible email hosting with SMTP that works.

ok, i've cancelled my account. had it for less than 30 days. looks like i'm going to get charged for the days I had the account, and was told by chat that i would have to call to get a refund, that it would not automatically be refunded to my credit card. called and got voice mail.
