Hi,

I recently built my computer and I am having some major problems. When I try to install a program such as opera, antivirus, etc. I keep getting an error stating an I/O error occured while installing a file. If someone knows how I could get out of this mess it will be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to install these programs on a fresh install of windows?

If now try installing windows again and then paste the exact error the maybe we will be able to help you better.

I completed my computer within this month and it is a fresh install of windows.
