I realise that about 80% of reviews posted are BAD - So I thought I would try and restore the balance a little
I have had 2 servers from Servstra for about 12 months now - both have 99.8%+ uptime and I rarely have problems with them...
I had the need to recompile Apache last night because I need SSL Curl and it wasn't in the apache config as standard... I used WHM to recompile and everything seemed to go fine (famous last words!)
I discovered though that after I had done - several site's were throwing Internal Server Errors and some site's had file permission problems and /cpanel had stopped working on all domains... After 3 more recompile attempts (including the last resort standard config option) I had to contact Servstra support and explain what I had done...
They replied within 10 minutes that they were fixing it and they replied back about 1 hour later to tell me that the server was fairly screwed up (their words not mine!) but after another hour or so they had been through the server and manually fixed all the issues!
So a massive thanks to the Servstra techs... And for those of you who have read the several "Servstra support is slow" type of threads - don't believe everything that you read
