Windows and TCAdmin support

Can anyone recommand a company that handles windows 2003 and TCAdmin support. Most places I find only offer services for linux. I'm looking for a company to do the initial setup and hardening of server. Thank you for your time.

Those are a few off the top of my head that can offer you a dedicated server with our product on it. As far as hardening the server you may need to pay extra? I would check with the hoster to see if they will do it for you.

I believe the developers (correct me if I'm wrong TCA) also do installations of their software. Or at least they used to...

This is a unique case as the original poster has a different version of the software than the full version. He has the dedicated server version which allows users to add, delete and control games, but does not have access to the full functionality of the product like you would.

I suggested that Ace speak with his provider regarding the issues he has been having, as they would be the ones who could fix it.

We offered free installation for about a year. Now with the realease of our latest installer, it's very easy to install, so we have stopped offering free installation.

Of course if you get stuck we can allways help.

Who would want to steal your already publicly available game server files?

Not all game server files are availible for free. Some require you purchase a copy of the game.

TCA, any ETA on that linux version?

ED, servers still need to be secured or they'll be exploited and used to spam or anything at all.

Lots of companies out there probabbly offer some type of consultation.. i know that I had to do some for another game server company that used to post on this forum, until they collapsed.

We are still working on it. We have quite a few clients using it, however we don't feel it is 100% ready for the general public yet as we are still finding small bugs here and there with it.

Right now we are focused on some big feature sets for the windows product, so there hasn't been much time to work on anything linux.

Any chance of some clues as to what these big new features might be?
