How do I install this?

root@server [~]# pear install soap
Failed to download pear/soap within preferred state "stable", latest release is version 0.9.4, stability "beta", use "channel://pear.php.net/soap-0.9.4" to install

Try this...

pear install channel://pear.php.net/soap-0.9.4

[net]

You are installing pear soap not php soap.

If you mean php soap, then you need to re-compile your php.
