Hello, Please, someone can help me recommend one of these servers?
I need use Mysql only for one domain, other domains only use the include php function to make the pages (templates).

Server 1
Intel P4 2.4GHz - 1024MB RAM - 40GB HDD

Server 2
AMD Sempron 3100+ - 1024MB - 80GB HDD

Thanks

P4 2.4 -> My favourite chip.

If you don't need the extra 40GB for sure, P4.

P4 2.4. The HD space wouldn't really matter unless you were using a lot of storage and backup.

Is that a 64bit or 32bit Sempron?

That would make a big difference in my decision, if it's 32bit you're likely better sticking with Intel, 64bit and the Sempron will be your best bet.

Specification

* Mfr Part Number: SDA3100AIP3AX
* Process Type: AMD Sempron 3100+* 64BIT
* Frequency: 1.8 GHz
* FSB: 1600MHz HT Speed
* Cache: 256 KB
* Process: 130nm SOI
* Socket: Socket 754
* Package: OEM

I have always been a fan of AMD, and I also agree with above, since it is a 64bit processor, go with it! I also believe that it would be your best bet.

I would choose the P4 server.

I believe it might be the 512 KB/800 MHz series, so much better.

Regards,

Jaime

EDIT: By the way, this thread should be in Dedicated Server forum. :)

AMD are preferred only for 64bit and gaming, for normal hosting P4 with any number of harddisk space (provided mainboard supports) is anyway good. for simple mycql and php, p4 is anyway better and maximum of people will vote for p4.
