Hi All

Is Internet Explorer7 worth downloading? have you encountered any problems?

By the way, I am in France and it's 36 degrees and the BBQ is on
Spicey chicken kebabs and a cool beer

Catch you all later

I have been using IE7 Beta 1 for a few months and haven't come across any problems yet.

The only major problem I've had with IE 7 is it will not load passport login pages, like live.com and xbox.com, and the Yahoo! Mail beta. I have to use Firefox for whenever I need to get to these pages.

Isn't Passport a Microsoft service? So it should be their first goal to make it loadable in IE 7? Weird.

I did try IE 7 awhile ago and didn't like it. It's too... different from the normal IE. I like the normal gray style without fluff/eye candy.

I have installed the IE7 beta. So far no problems with it, but I haven't spent a lot of time with it. I do more websurfing in linux than in Windows. One feature that is a big improvement over IE6 is its ability to resize images for printing. Firefox had an advantage over Internet Explorer with that feature, but now IE7 has caught up.
It takes some tinkering to give it a classic appearance. For example the tool bar is missing by default, but it can be restored.

You guys should check out Office 2007 Beta 2 - it's available for download from Microsoft's website. Now *that* is some nice software. And... get it before they take out the export to PDF options! :O

Like the Office 2000 beta but had to remove the IE7 as it kept bringing up caution boxes for everything - it became a nuisance.

I love IE 7! An actual good MS product...

Only thing is that I have problems playing most movies.....but I hope it'll be fixed for the final release.

IE7 has been great so far.

It's got a big session issue bug in it. Some of my sites using PHP sessions just won't work at all in it as it does something funny with the session. It's a known bug and Microsoft is fixing it. Sounds like it may be something similar with passport.

I would like to try the final version. Also, IE have become a copy cat.
