So I dented my dads new truck....

By accident lol, i was pulling it into the garage and rubbed it against the side a bit. It was dark and I was tired from work...

But can anyone give me a price range of the average dent repair cost...its a medium sized dent on the part above the rear tire...

Price = butt-kicking....

post of pics.... then maybe someone can provide an intelligent answer.

I know when I had a small scratch on my honda I took it in to see if I could get a touchup paint job... I got a quote of almost $2000, I was floored.

Do some googling and fix it yourself if you consider yourself "handy".

You mean you damaged the fender on a truck? Depending on damage that can be an entire bed replacement. Don't want to scare you but... Ouch... Have you given any thought to packing your bags and moving to Alaska to become a King Crab fisherman?

Its just on the fender, as far as I can remember, so hell probably just need a new fender.

I can't take a picture of it yet because hes out somewhere...

Just leave it like it is You see plenty of dented cars on the road. And you'll have a conversation starter whenever someone come over and ask what happened to the truck.

You can probably just pop the dent out and then buff the scrape out without a problem.

Hmm, yea if it's metal you probably could pop it out.

But it is a truck, you can just leave it. Especially if you use it for work, it'll get dented sooner or later anyways. It's no sports car.

If you look for a small independant bodywork specialist it may be a lot cheaper than you imagine, My car got a heck of a scrape down the passenger rear panel (the wife dont ask) I got quoted from £300 - £1000 from dealers but a little garage type that was a one man operation did it for £100 and you cant see the join its marvelous and i recomend him to anyone and everyone.

Look in your equivalant of the yellow pages i bet they are there.
