[Established] DroppingList.com - UNIQUE! REVENUE!

URL: http://www.droppinglist.com

Age of site (months): 1

Monthly revenue: $105.24

Revenue details:
Please reffer to PayPal and Bidvertiser statistics / records shown below...

http://droppinglist.com/sale/revenue.jpg

http://droppinglist.com/sale/revenue1.jpg

http://droppinglist.com/sale/revenue2.jpg

http://droppinglist.com/sale/revenue3.jpg

The ways I generated this was by either...

a) 468x60 Banner Advertisements (Shown throughout footer and header)
b) Partnership Text Link (http://www.droppinglist.com/partners.php)
c) Bidvertiser PPC Program (http://www.bidvertiser.com) - I had this running for a while but decided to take it off - they did not provide me with my desired ad formats
d) $0.99 Domain Name Droplist ($1.25 for extended bonus list). I made around 3-4 sales on this, and stopped advertising it because the domains in it were for the week of May 19th.

Details about advertising:
http://www.droppinglist.com/advertise.php

Monthly page views: 21781

Traffic details:
http://droppinglist.com/sale/stats.jpg

I've advertised on so many places, since this website doesn't have to specifically go with only domainers and webmasters. DroppingList.com gives users the opportunity to find a nice, newly expired domain, and get into the domain game. You can see our name shown in the following places, and more...

Banner - 468x60
http://www.droppinglist.com/banner.gif

Banner - 125x125
http://www.droppinglist.com/125x125.gif

Some websites advertised on:
http://www.forumshock.com
http://www.netbusinesstalk.com
http://www.namepros.com
http://www.operationmacbook.com
http://www.graphicsaddicts.net
http://www.clantemplates.com
http://www.talkfreelance.com
http://www.render-world.com/forum/
http://www.bryanle.net (see specific post at http://bryanle.net/?p=99 , near the middle).

And many more.

I've also done some advertising at my classes, as many people there are webmasters. I used some homemade stickers and spread them around, posted at bulletin boards.

I've done a deal of offline advertising aswell.

ALSO, less than two weeks ago I have hired a skilled SEO giant who - so far - has done me great justice, and its only two weeks in. He was contracted to achieve atleast PR4 (Google PageRank of 4), and top keyword SERP ratings on Google (MSN and Yahoo, and others are very easy to achieve - so those were helpful side-effects). I have asked him to reply to this thread as assurance to anyone potentially interested.

You can see just some of Google's results below...

http://droppinglist.com/sale/google2.jpg and
http://droppinglist.com/sale/google3.jpg
And what I'm especially proud of ...
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...st&btnG=Search

For those of you who do not see "DroppingList.com" as the NUMBER ONE result, this is because we have just recently hit it and Google's datacenters are still evening out. The reason I cannot provide a screenshot is because I recieve different top hits every couple minutes while the DC updates - But most should see it.

Just in! http://www.droppinglist.com/sale/google.jpg

Description:
DroppingList.com is a website of great potential. Everything ranging from the domain fetching script to the contact forms is completely custom made. No downloadable or free scripts, except the PayPal "Buy NOW!" button used to purchase advertisements.

The design and banners, aswell, are fully unique - and I will include the main page PSD file as a bonus to the winning bidder.

This script will NOT be created nor used again, ever. Currently it is running purely off feeds from Google, Alexa, and others. The script is fully automated, meaning there is virtually no work involved in maintinence because the script does it for you.

The advertisement banner rotator and control panel is custom aswell, and if necessary I shall post screenshots - though it is just a couple simple pages.

Alright, I've told you about everything, but what is it?
DroppingList.com is a large and free provider of enormous expired domain name droplists, which automatically update every 6 hours. A more valued description can be found at http://www.droppinglist.com/about.php

The archives update, aswell, and provide future day droplists. This can be found at http://www.droppinglist.com/archives.php

NEW FEATURES!!
I have also just manage to put up two CUSTOM drop-searches. Find these at
http://www.droppinglist.com/search.html (simple)
or
http://www.droppinglist.com/advsearch.html (advanced)

Speaking of searches, you will also find a quick NameCheap domain search located in the header.

-ALSO- I have arranged for the "status" buttons next to the domains to retrieve domain status from WHOIS.net, which updates aswell.

Type of site:
Established and functional website with traffic

Price (or starting bid): $300.00

Is an auction?: Yes

Indexed pages (Google): 39

Google page rank: (predicted) 4

Alexa site rank: 361,500

PLEASE PM ME ON SITEPOINT (Targowski) WITH BIN OFFERS, I'm still thinking on one
Payment accepted through PayPal (flexible on other methods)

Please do not PM me on WHT as there will be no response

Please note that the site is also being advertised at the following locations:

http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/show...78#post2772478

How does the website generate the conent (expired list) and how much resource does that take to run? Does it leech off of another website (eg: deleteddomains.com) or WHOIS its own with a multi-thread dictionary-based or crawl-based attack?

I'm interested if I could just learn more about what the site does and what I'm buying besides a name and some advertising.

I'll buy it for $100.

PR Isn't at 4 it's 0.

You just started in april 06 06.

And if you type dropping list in google it doesn't come up with your ad.

But that's my offer.

I'll even give you some type of linkage on my other site that gets over 27k.
