Just curious, what's everyones plans now as far as arriving and departing Vegas? I believe I read a thread on this a few months ago, but that was a few months ago, and I expect everyone should be solidifying their plans now.

I'd suspect most will be arriving on Sunday and leaving on Thursday, but I'd also bet there's quite a few staying an extra day or two?

To be honest, I'm still pondering registration - I'm on my way *out* of the US shortly (for India) and since there are a few other conferences in July back in the US - I might head to Vegas for HostingCon as well. If I do come, I'll probably do a drive from San Francisco (since I have family up there).

Ciao,
Roj

HI! All
I am working with HostingCon and will be finding outside of the conference things to do besides gamble. I see that some want to go ATVing and will be finding the BEST place to do that.
Are any of you thinking of this as a vacation and bringing along a non conference participating guest? I would love to be able to have options for both adults and children that may be traveling with you, if needed.
This could be a (as we put it) double bubble, Vacation/Business Trip. There is alot more than just gambling in Vegas for people of all ages. Please let me know so we can make this conference a great experience for all who will be joining us. Also let me know when you will be coming in, so that we can hopefully get some good pricing for you

Coming in on Sunday morning and leaving on Thursday afternoon. You know what's silly? I couldn't get the convention rate at the Mirage for the last night... the other nights I got it. I don't get that.

Room rates at the Mirage on Wednesdays are thier lowest rates. According to the posted rates online the room rate for Wednesday night is $109. This is a rate lower than Sunday thru Tuesday.

I didn't get a rate that low... it was close to $200 for that last night. I'll have to call them then, thanks!

We'll be getting there Saturday and leaving on Thursday or Friday.

Got to make sure there is enough time to get some cards in before the fun starts.

LP-Trel,

Cards = Poker?

If so, you should play the Hosting for Hope Charity Poker Tournament on Wednesday night.
