i have a 160GB western hd(external). i had all this important stuff on it. i was messing around with the windows cd and i deleted the partition for this hd.

does anyone know what i can do to get all this data back?

I usually do SHIFT-DELETE to remove files.. One day I accidentally deleted some very important accounting files and was able to restore those with:

One tip: DONT do any write tasks on this harddisk to keep the old data as much as possible!!
