well im asking this because i HAVE done it, i made a fully workable reseller account from webhost manager. the problem is i dont remember doing anything differently, it made it a reseller at random. so how can i do this again? was it a glitch or what? to prove its a reseller, i cant modify the username it says "

UserName ***** (resellers cannot have their username changed)

and once i go on that account it has its own whm and all, its a fully working reseller account, but i dont know how it happened, someone shed some light on this please

Maybe its just me, but this post doesn't make a whole lot of sense. What exactly are you attempting to do? By your post it sounds like you are trying to create a reseller account, but that error looks like you are trying to change the username of a reseller account..

Go into Reseller Center (in WHM), all should become clear there .

If you do have a normal reseller account with your host, it could have been that someone on their end from root WHM axidently gave reseller permissions to that account, although we can't be positive.

Do you have root WHM or are you just a normal reseller?

i made one, and i dont have root access. but i dont remember how i did it, i made it under "create account" and it was just a reseller randomly, i dont know how it happened so thats what im asking

Your provider may have installed software then disabled it, creating a reseller under reseller level cant be done unless you have root access or software installed on the server that allows this. Try contacting your provider & see what they say.
