Reliable UK Host

Hi I am looking for a reliable UK host offering MSHOSTING (MSSQL - .Net - ACCESS)

My current host is working out to expensive for me now and I can no longer afford their charges. I am sad to be leaving them as I have been with them for 5 years in which only once they have been down and their support is second to none, impressive record if you ask me.

My current package is:
1GB Disk Space
20GB Data Transfer
50MB MSSQL
Which costs me £80 per month.

I have been looking at people at FASTHOSTS, 1&1, Webfusion, UKIC, Namesco to name a few and many of these offer more then what I currently have and cost less - around £16 per month.

Who would you recommend? The most important thing for me is uptime...

Any recommendations would be much apriciated.

Thanks for your time and help.

And what are you looking for in terms of technology, space and data transfer?
I could recommend my current host which is 110% reliable.

It's also the weekend and the forum's a bit less busy. Maybe you should just make a list of hosts using whatever sources you can (findyourhost.co.uk) and then use the search feature to find some (older) feedback.

I do know there are a few UK hosts with good reputations, but one can only make recommendations if he/she has fisrt hand experiece with the host, so I must let you discover them yourself. At least now you know there's something to be found out there.

Good luck!

Take a look over at forum2.co.uk. A lot of UK hosts hang out there as well.

Or have a look at http://www.ochostreview.co.uk/ - a popular UK webhosting review site.

Reliable UK shared host on a budget of £80 per month? Fortunately, with your budget you basically have unlimited options. Hostway.co.uk Platinum plan for Microsoft Windows will run you £40 per month for 1.5 GB storage and 30GB transfer and 1 MySQL database. I feel perfectly safe in saying Hostway is pretty much one of the most reliable shared hosts you'll ever find. I have seen stats for websites at Hostway that haven't gone down in YEARS. Yes, that's right, YEARS. I don't know of too many other places who can claim that...Pair perhaps, and a few others, but not many.
