I know most server managers would probably say they do support Rails, but it does have some quirks for optimization. Is anyone specializing or at least highly experienced in managing a dedicated server with ruby on rails sites?

Is anyone offering off-the-shelf optimized RoR managed boxes?

Seems like most specializing in rails are shared accounts.

Personally I don't have the budget and need for a dedicated server, more a managed vps (with about 100gb bandwidth) with for example Apache 2.x + Mongrel.
I haven't found anybody yet who's offering this.

Have you requested this from managed providers? RR is not a complicated thing to run on a dedicated box, so I bet it would be very easy to find support for it. Most likely, a lot of providers don't advertise that they offer it...but will if you ask.
